Vallen Laholm Granary PISY 1782-1860

ValGra, is a collection of PISY samples collected and measured by Arne Andersson from timber in a granary at Vallen, Våxtorp parish in Halland (Swedish west coast) and covers the time span AD 1782-1860. The samples are collected in a part of the granary known to have been build in 1861, which is also confirmed by the dendrochronological date of this collection. The pattern of matches does indicate that the trees did not grow in Halland but more likely somewhere around the east coast of southern Sweden.

The correlation towards the HallandPISY chronology (in which older samples from the same granary is included) is only 0.23 (TTest=2.03), i.e no match at all.
