There is now a new develpment version of CooRecorder available for testing.
The mechanism for "Catching the ring width data underlying a plotted curve" has been somewhat extended.
When you have a curve without yearly markers, you can now get vertical help lines drawn across your diagram, like this
The updated help text is available here: http://www.cybis.se/forfun/dendro/curve ... /index.htm (don't forget to reload/refresh your browser if you have looked at that section of the handbook before.. )
Note: The development version of CooRecorder is available for testing by CDendro customers who have either upgraded to or recently bought CDendro version 7.

19 February 2009:
CooRecorder: A new tool - CrackMarker - to use when a crack cannot be easily traversed with a double-point. Help on using crack marker points (see that you reload/refresh the page!)
CDendro: Mechanisms to make CDendro handle crackmarker points in .pos files.
Crossdating quality test functions: Correlation coefficient curves (also TTest) can now be plotted as a pile (narrow columns) diagram.
The plotting of year numbers at the top of vertical lines has been somewhat revised.

The development (test) version of CooRecorder
There is now another new development/test version of CooRecorder
The AutoPlace mode is now improved. When you have set the start point, a thin line will connect that point with your cursor to
make it easier to see where to set the end point. A perpendicular line is also drawn which should be parallel with the tree rings at the best position.
Sort of a ruler/Help line/Support line can now be set so you can afterwards use that line to measure along.
When the help line is set, a perpendicular crossing line is also plotted. When that line is parallel with the tree rings you have the best position for your line.

Still a new development/test version of CooRecorder dated 2 March: (This update done because of an idea of Torbjörn Axelson.)Lars-Ake wrote: The AutoPlace mode is now improved. When you have set the start point, a thin line will connect that point with your cursor to

When the help line is set, a perpendicular crossing line is also plotted. When that line is parallel with the tree rings you have the best position for your line.
The perpendicular lines during the setting of a help/support line (or setting for AutoPlace) are now three! There are one line at each end and one line in the middle.
Please note that after setting the starting-point, when you have that rubber band alike line attached to your cursor, then you may very well use the arrow-keys of your keyboard to scroll the picture - or even use the cursor to click on a scrollbar to make the picture scroll.

Re: The development (test) version of CooRecorder
I have updated CooRecorder a little to make it more easy to collect curvedata:
Also, when there are multiple curves (e.g. two) in the same diagram, it is now possible to set out labels in CooRecorder at e.g. a certain year in both
curves. These labels are then transfered to the .wid files and should pop up at the same year when the two curves are plotted over each other by CDendro.
This makes synchronization of the two curves much easier.
