Here comes another .pos file example showing that the .pos-file-header with meta-data can be almost any length. If you want to read only the X,Y coordinates, you have to use a mechanism which can skip the leading meta data!

This wid file is sorted from the sample date backwards from top to bottom, right? Right! The youngest ring widths of a .wid file are at the beginning of the file - or top of the column if you like to say so. Another way to handle a reversed segment might be to use an image editor and rotate that wrongly mounted section within the image. Or make a copy of that segment, rotate it and "mount" it in parallel with the original image. Then when measuring in CooRecorder, you use a "double point&...
